Carry Out Toga Hime’s Request
Welcome to our Wild Hearts Carry Out Toga Hime’s Request guide. In this section of the game, you’ll be introduced to the new location, the Spirit Isle or Natsukodachi Isle. This island is inhabited by kemonos like the Spineglider and the Lavaback, who are known to be agile and slippery, so it’s important to be well-prepared before battling them.
After a long cutscene, you can check out the new armor and weapons that are available by teleporting to the forge front where Natsume is. Then, talk to Ujishige to trigger the main quest and he will direct you to Toga-hime, who will provide more information about the island and its inhabitants.
Toga-hime will guide you to the Fisherman’s guild, where you’ll meet Nobumitsu. He’ll take you to the Spirit Isle, but before you go, make sure to equip yourself properly because the next monster you’ll face is quick and precise.
To get to the Spirit Isle, open the map tab in the main menu, make sure you’re in the “Main Map” view, and then teleport to the camp in Spirit Isle.
Similar to the previous island, there is a camp waiting for you as you arrive on the Spirit Isle. You’ll need to construct your own Dragon Karakuris such as the Hunting Tower and the Flying Vines to locate the target kemono and explore the surroundings.
We strongly suggest that you build a Hunting Tower close to the camp to quickly locate the Spineglider.
Now it’s time to confront the Spineglider! This kemono is agile and can be quite irritating to battle against. It creates a structure that it can leap into, allowing it to execute its spinning move and cover more ground. To avoid this, you must keep your distance when you see it climbing the structure. Time your sliding dodge to avoid the attack, or use a spring to get out of harm’s way swiftly.
As you battle the Spineglider, you’ll have an opportunity to build a new karakuri called the pounder, which is a hammer-like weapon. The pounder can be used to deal heavy damage to the Spineglider while it’s on top of its structure, which will stun it and leave it vulnerable to further attacks.
Be careful of the Spineglider’s projectile attacks, which are much more accurate than those of previous kemonos. It can also launch a more powerful version of this attack by jumping from the structure it created, which can deal significant damage.
In rage mode, the Spineglider’s tail will become inflated, giving its melee attacks increased range. It will also perform a new bouncing attack with its tail that can deal a lot of damage, so make sure to dodge or spring away to avoid getting hit.
Once you defeat the Spineglider, you’ll unlock a new karakuri called the Glider. When you return to Minato, be sure to speak with Suzuran to complete the quest.
