Victoria 3 1.5 Beta Hidden Unit Combat Modifiers
Welcome to our Victoria 3 1.5 Beta Hidden Unit Combat Modifiers guide. Beta 1.5 brought three new unit type groups for armies: infantry, artillery, and cavalry. Due to being in beta, tool tips for these units have not yet been implemented into the game, but each unit already does have its own unique battle modifiers in effect. This makes your army composition important in 1.5.

I’ve not tested to confirm, but because “unit_morale_loss_add” and “unit_kill_rate_add” are unlikely to be valid when used under “upkeep_modifier”, it’s inversely likely that shrapnel artillery will not have a value for morale loss and kill rate in combat. Be wary of this as this may adversely impact army compositions using shrapnel artillery. |
