How to Fast Travel in The Outer Worlds
In order to fast travel, you must first open your Map via the menu and move your cursor over any of the blue and white compass symbols. When you are ready to travel, interact with the compass and accept the warning message that appears. That’s how easy fast traveling is.
While some may be hesitant to use the Fast Travel option in fear of missing out on potential content, it is worth mentioning that enemies and loot do not respawn in The Outer Worlds.
So, don’t go thinking that you will miss out on any special encounters while you travel across Halcyon the hard the way.
How to Fast Travel While Encumbered in The Outer Worlds
Being encumbered is no fun, especially when you’re in the middle of no where with no vending machines or storage containers in site. Thankfully, with the help of a few life-changing perks being encumbered is no longer something you need to dread.
Unlocked during the first stage, the Traveler perk will allow you to fast travel while encumbered. This is particularly handy for those that like to hoard items, as it allows you the option to fast travel to a location with a Storage Container or Vendor nearby.
If you are looking for something more, unlocking Perks such as Pack Mule and Hoarder can significantly increase the amount of items you can carry.
