The story starts out really hot and scary. Once you gain control of Iron Mask, talk to the Doc. Press X to open the Map. Important story objectives will show on the Map as yellow stars. Your next destination is marked with a star symbol. The number displayed as you move towards the yellow star is the distance to the destination.
You’ll see discover that most of this game is fairly linear early on. Just follow the story marker objective, and you’ll see some action soon enough.
At this point in the game, you can adjust your controller settings, press the left directional button on the D-Pad to open your Activity Records (where you can view the main story objectives and sub-quest progress). You may also open the menu by pressing Start button on the Xbox controller.
In this menu, you can view Iron Man’s Items, Outfits, the Field Guide, and the System menu. Toggle walk/run on by press L3 on the left analog stick.
You may open the System menu and download any DLC you’d like to use. Once you’ve gone over everything in the main menu, it’s time to talk to Doc. Now go talk to the Doc. After he patches you up, leave and head left to rest in your unmarked bed. Once you’ve rested, head North back the way you came and past Doc’s makeshift hut towards the train cars.
