Stellaris Color and Symbol List
Welcome to our Stellaris Color and Symbol List guide. This guide will show you detailed information about colors and symbols list in the game!
Stellaris makes use of UTF-8 codes (DC1 and DC3) to make visual changes to your text inputs
For Example:
The DC1 and DC3 Symbols do not show up in Steam Guides, here the symbols are placed within the code blocks
Alternatively the codes can be accessed with Notepad++
- First Go to Edit > Character Panel, a new panel will open
Colors
Color Codes all use DC1
The format of Color codes is [DC1][Letter][Phrase]]
For example [DC1]BLorem Ipsum [DC1]Gdolor[DC1]! sit[DC1]! amet

Symbols
Symbol Codes all use DC3
The format of Color codes is [DC3][£Code][Space]]
For example [DC3]energy Power [DC3]food Meal
This produces:
“|” followed by a number can be appended onto the end of any symbol, and on a select few that has a purpose, such as the numbered leader levels, however on all symbols, adding a very large number (over 1000000) can cause visual distortion on the symbol
The Following Sections show the codes and appearance of as many symbols as I could find.
They are called ‘£ codes’ due to them being identified in the stellaris localisation code by being surrounded by £s, e.g. £society£
Note: The £ Codes column Does include the invisible DC3 symbol, triple click the code to select the whole line before you copy, that way you automatically include it.
