Lock Breaker

Lock breaker is an extremely useful tool. You are a bandit, after all, and using Red Dead Redemption 2 lock breaker is definitely the preferable way of opening some locks. True, there’s always dynamite, but you don’t always want to bring the house down along with the door you’re trying to open. Lock breakers are more quiet, and therefore much more stealthy. How to get Lock Breakers?

To get lock breakers, you’ll have to purchase them. Of course, since lock breakers are not exactly the most legal of items, you can’t really purchase them on every corner. Instead, you’re going to have to buy lock breakers in RDR from the fence vendor. They will basically sell you anything, regardless of how illegal it may or may not be. The lock breaker costs $25 in the store. Important note: You can only have one lock breaker at a time. So far, we haven’t found any lock breakers out in the wild, so we’re pretty sure is the only place to get them.

Incidentally, fence vendors will be more than happy to provide you with other nefarious services. They buy jewelry and gold bars, sell you the poison arrow pamplet recipe and masks, and more. They really are a bandit’s best friend out there in the wild, wild west. Make good use of them.

Where to find Lock Breaker?

To find lock breaker, you have to locate the fence vendors, as you might have guessed from the previous section. unfortunately, fence vendors aren’t exactly around every corner. In fact, there are four locations where you can find him. They are in Saint Denis, Emerald Ranch, in Rhodes, and Van Horn Trading post. The only problem is that not all of these locations will be available to you at all times. You’ll have to push through the game to unlock them.
