Stone Blocks are one of the game’s smashes that can’t hurt everything. In this guide, we explained where to find stone blocks and how to use them.
How to Obtain Stone Blocks
Stone Blocks are essential materials in Nightingale, crucial for various early-game constructions. Knowing where to find them is key to progression.
These blocks can be mined in any biome using any available pickaxe.
Locating Stone Blocks
Stone Blocks are commonly found near water basins or coastlines. Unlike ordinary rocks, they are distinctively smooth and sizable. While typically circular, they can vary in shape and size.
In Nightingale, distinguishing Stone Blocks from other stones or ores can be challenging. However, equipping a low-level pickaxe and aiming at the rock can reveal its nature. If a green pickaxe icon appears, it indicates that Stone Blocks can be obtained. This method may not work with high-level pickaxes, which can also mine ores.
To extract Stone Blocks, simply use a pickaxe to strike the rock until it breaks apart. This yields a substantial amount of Stone Blocks for collection, which can then be utilized in crafting.
How to Use Stone Blocks
Stone Blocks serve various purposes in Nightingale. They are essential for constructing Stone Foundations, Walls, Stairs, and Floors. Additionally, they are integral in crafting the Estate Cairn, a vital structure in the early stages of the game. Simple tools such as Simple Climbing Picks, Simple Hunting Knives, and Simple Mining Picks also require Stone Blocks in their creation.
