This guide will show you how to get hard achievements in the game. We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the Luck be a Landlord game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our Luck be a Landlord guide.
Difficult Achievements
Bar of Soap
Have a Bar of Soap add 4 or more Bubbles before being destroyed.
Use the Hex of Draining to prevent the Bar of Soap from giving any money.
Breakfast
Have 2 or more Pool Ball Essences.
In Endless Mode disable all the essences you can as you put them out. After having all of the essences out, the game will only offer you Pool Ball Essences.
Highlander
Add 10 tooltips from the same Highlander.
Open the tooltip for the Highlander and hover over the Highlander in the tooltip, this will open another tooltip. Do this continuously until you have 10 tooltips open.
Matryoshka Doll
Destroy a Matryoshka Doll before it destroys itself.
Use a Hex of Destruction or Midas Bomb to destroy the first* stage of the doll immediately once its spawned.
*Could be other stages too, but I did it on the first stage so that’s all I know works.
About Luck be a Landlord
Luck be a Landlord is a roguelike deckbuilding game where you use a slot machine to earn coins to pay rent. The objective of the game is to pay rent 12 times, at which point you can then choose to continue a game into Endless Mode. When you pay the 12th rent payment, you may chose to play on a higher apartment floor, which modifies the game to make it more difficult.
Each turn, you spend one coin and spin the slot machine to earn money from the symbols shown, then have the option to add another symbol to the machine. Symbols can interact with each other in many ways, such as adding to or multiplying the payout from another symbol, or even destroying it. Each rent payment, you also have the option to obtain an item, giving permanent and often powerful modifiers to your run.
Rent increases quickly throughout the game, starting at just 25 coins but reaching 777 coins by the 12th payment. The number of turns to make rent also increases to a maximum of 10.
