The game doesn’t support any type of multiplayer gameplay. It’s a single-player campaign and Deacon is alone in his journey to survive on an island where his chances are bleak. The main aim of the game is for the players to feel alone, to feel stranded, to survive with no other help. This game will put almost unsurmountable obstacles for the players. But they have to get through all of them alone.
Days Gone gameplay has been designed to be strictly single-player, but there’s no telling what the future holds for the players. Many players believed that Ghost of Tsushima would be an only single-player installment. But the developers came up with a banging multiplayer mode for this game too. Multiplayer could be incorporated into the Days Gone Gameplay. But the players will have to just wait and see if that comes true.
Multiplayer
Days Gone is a brand-new first-party PS4 exclusive from Sony. It is developed by Bend Studios, which previously worked on Siphon Filter, and Uncharted Golden Abyss. They are very much a single-player concentrated studio, so it’s unsurprising that Days Gone is a single-player game through and through. There is no multiplayer performance in Days Gone currently. Only the primary project which is played solo.
Will Multiplayer Be Added to Days Gone?
As you may understand already, Days Gone is set to get some post-launch content. At the time of composing, we know about one update set to get here very soon indeed. It will add a new trouble mode, and also brand-new challenges which will reward gamers with custom bike skins upon completion. From the information launched up until now, it appears like these challenges will be weekly, but will be single-player. It is possible that Bend might include leaderboards to these difficulties eventually in the future, but for now a minimum of it looks as though Days Gone will remain a strictly solo affair.
