Acquiring Seahorses in Dave the Diver mandates the possession of a Bug Net. In contrast to the Net Gun and various other weaponry available in the game, the Bug Net isn’t purchasable from Duff, nor is it discoverable within a weapon cache situated in the Blue Hole. Instead, you secure the Bug Net by fulfilling a request presented by Maki.
How to Get the Bug Net
Obtaining the Bug Net in Dave the Diver hinges on fulfilling Maki’s Request. During chapter 2, she will make her presence known in your sushi bar and task you with creating Kombu and White Trevally Ochazuke. This dish entails White Trevally, Soy Sauce, and Kelp as key components.
Should you lack Soy Sauce and Kelp, both can be sourced within the Shallows area. Kelp is readily visible, while Soy Sauce can be extracted from red pots. On the other hand, White Trevally is encountered between 50 meters and 130 meters, situated just before the Depths.
