While the game allows you to swim, obtaining a crucial item called “Flippers” is necessary to stay afloat. Our comprehensive guide will walk you through the process of acquiring the Flippers from Keroppi, enabling you to swim effortlessly.
Where to Find Keroppi
Who better to learn the art of swimming from than our amphibian Sanrio companion, Keroppi the frog? Unfortunately, after an unexpected arrival on the island, you got separated from some of your friends, including Keroppi. To reunite with them by crossing the waters, you’ll need to fashion yourself a pair of Flippers.
Obtaining the crafting plans for Flippers can be accomplished by seeking out Keroppi in the Spooky Swamp, situated on the island’s eastern side. However, before accessing this eerie green bog, you must complete the “Power Up the Gate” quest with Chococat.
Achieving Friendship Level 1 with Chococat and collecting all three Yellow Power Crystals to unlock the eastern gate leading out of Seaside Resort will grant you access to the Spooky Swamp, where Keroppi and Kuromi reside.
One obstacle you might encounter is a collapsed bridge beyond the gate, submerged in water. Fear not; you can still reach the Spooky Swamp by taking a longer route.
To find Keroppi in the Spooky Swamp, follow the left path as you exit the Seaside Resort Gate. Continue on until you pass the Blue Power Crystal shrine, leading to the path’s end near a waterfall. To your right, you’ll notice a cliffside with wooden slats. Ascend these slats effortlessly to reach the cliff’s top without expending any stamina!
Once you’re in the Spooky Swamp, you’ll find Keroppi near the ponds by the swamp entrance. Initiate a conversation with him, offer the My Melody’s Welcome Gift, and set out on the quest to find the elusive Flippers.
How to Craft the Flippers in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
After conversing with Keroppi in Spooky Swamp and accepting the “Finding Flippers” quest, he will provide you with the crafting plans for Flippers and the first ingredient: Fins. To complete the crafting of Flippers, you’ll need a second ingredient, a Strap, which can be found in the Treasure Chest on the dock situated to the left of Keroppi’s location.
Proceed to the Crafting Table near Chococat’s tent in Seaside Resort and utilize the Fins and Strap to assemble the Flippers!
Once you’ve successfully crafted the Flippers, you’ll gain the ability to enter any body of water and immediately commence swimming.
Now, you can effortlessly navigate across ponds and vast stretches of ocean both on and around the island. Enjoy your newfound aquatic freedom!
