Welcome to our Fear & Hunger Body, Mind, Hunger and Torches guide. This guide has detailed legitimate ways to group body, mind, hunger, and torches endlessly.
We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the Fear and Hunger game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our Fear and Hunger guide.
Farming Mind
Method 1:
1. Obtain a Sorcerer’s stone (rare chest drop, or buy from the Bug-eyed figurine in Ma’habre for 50 silver coins)
alternatively, use an empty scroll
- O LORD
- GIVE
- SORCERER’S
2. Repeatedly enter combat with a door or bars, or a defenceless enemy. You will gain 10 mind each round
Method 2:
1. Obtain a Scroll of transmutation (Isayah’s quest, map #1 or by using an empty scroll)
- O LORD
- TEACH
- TRANSMUTATION
2. Obtain Glass vial(s) (can be found in crates and shelves)
3. Head to the salmon-snake pond in the caves. Fill glass vials with water, transmute into wine, drink wine and repeat (drinking will give you a glass vial back)
Farming Body
Method 1:
If you have a way to farm mind, you can also farm body by:
1. Learning loving whispers and/or healing whispers through either
a.) The hexen table, by gaining affinity with Sylvian (partake in the bunny orgy in the meadow) and spending lesser souls
b.) A Scroll of the church of Sylvian or Scroll of the church of healing respectively, which can be found as a rare drop from bookcases
c.) An empty scroll (possible though not recommended)
- O LORD
- TEACH
- HEALING WHISPERS
- or
- O LORD
- TEACH
- LOVING WHISPERS
- respectively
2. Casting said healing spells
Method 2:
1. Obtain a Ring of Wraiths (rare chest drop, or by completing Buckman’s questline)
2. Repeatedly enter combat with a door or bars, or a completely disabled enemy (such as a Guard with all limbs + stinger cut, or Trotur with his knife arm cut) You will gain 5-10 body each round
Method 3:
1. Acquire a safe bed (killing Crow Mauler or emptying the upper dungeon or prison of enemies. If you cannot kill Crow Mauler, whichever layout did not spawn with an elite guard for you I’d recommend you clear out, then simply switch between beds. You will be woken up on a failed coin toss, but nothing will happen) then save
2. Head to the bunny meadow and partake in an orgy. Doing so will also let you repeatedly gain affinity with Sylvian. On a failed coin toss you will have to reload the save and try again, but there is no penalty for doing this besides your own patience and some hunger
Farming Hunger
Method 1:
1. Obtain a Scroll of transmutation (Isayah’s quest, map #1 or by using an empty scroll)
- O LORD
- TEACH
- TRANSMUTATION
2. Obtain 1 Moldy bread, and at least 1 glass vial (more is preferable)
3. Head to the salmon-snake pond in the caves. Fill glass vials with water, transmute into wine, drink wine and repeat to gain mind, then transmute 1 mouldy bread into 3 mouldy bread, rinse and repeat. You can get to 99 moldy breads if you’re patient
Moldy bread is safe to eat, each piece restores 30 hunger
Method 2:
Refer to Method 3 in Farming Body, but instead head to the Wolf feast bellow the Cavedweller village. Requires patience but doing so will also let you repeatedly gain affinity with Gro-goroth
Farming Torches (and More)
This method will farm other items, as well as body, mind and hunger too – but at a slower pace
Method:
1. Obtain a pinecone pig by either
a.) using an empty scroll
- O LORD
- GIVE
- PINECONE PIG
- (it will say you received pinecone pig instructions, but you will have received the pinecone pig itself)
b.) finding pinecone pig instructions (rare bookcase drop) and crafting it with 1 pinecone and 1 stick
2. Completely disable an enemy, a couple methods of this are:
a.) Chop all limbs off a Guard
b.) Chop off Trortur’s knife arm
3. Equip the pinecone pig on your player character and repeatedly enter combat and run away. There’s a 1/4 chance each time you enter combat that pinecone pig will grant you an item from a list, of which torches, as well as cloths and sticks to craft torches are included. Mind restoring items are included on this list, and coins are included which can be traded with the Cavedweller merchant for dried meat (5 silver coins for 1 dried meat)
