One of the biggest innovations of Farming Simulator 22 is the introduction of production lines. The game has many similar production lines that affect almost all work in the game. This not only increases the complexity of the game, but also forces you to grow and produce different crops/animals.

This data comes from the vanilla game xml file (maps_fillTypes.xml) and uses the base value of each product.It does not take into account the best or worst prices based on monthly price fluctuations. It also doesn’t tell you which is the “best” product, as it doesn’t take into account the cost of equipment, land, time, or your particular interest in that type of farming. However, before you start investing your virtual time and money into a business, you can at least look at the list once to get an idea of the benefits.

Buy Buildings
In production lines, the first thing you have to do is learn recipes: what can you do with what. This way you can effectively plan what you want to plant/grow so you can make the produce yourself instead of selling raw produce.
For example, if you try to simply bring the wool to the spinning mill, you will only receive money for the goods sold. In order to work with production lines, you need to buy a production building. Each building accepts different goods and produces different products.You can sell full or semi-finished goods (e.g. you can use the spinning mill to make fabrics, but you don’t have to process them into garments, which is the next production step).
You can buy buildings in town; On the map you will find all available factories and processing plants. To buy a building, approach it and enter the key marker.The same buildings at the same price are also available in Build mode. So why buy buildings instead of building them? To save space. However, if you don’t want to go too far to buy a building, a better idea would be to build a nearby point.
Production
When you acquire the first production buildings, recipes and goods, the factory control panel will be available in the game menu.Each recipe requires one or more (depending on the recipe) ingredients that must be delivered to the factory. Production will not start unless you provide all the ingredients for complex recipes. You also need to turn on the factory: after delivering the ingredients and choosing the recipe, choose the activation button at the bottom.
You have to pay a small amount of money for every hour of factory work. Every factory and every product has its own “throughput” – the number of products made per hour (eg.grams. the spinning mill processes 2x 60 wool per hour). Different materials can produce different amounts of end product.
