Launch a Nuke
Would have the ability for players to get their hands on nuclear missiles to launch into Appalachia, it became clear that whoever holds the nukes hold the power. But to get access to a nuke, you’ll have to go through many steps to get there – and it’s not as straight forward as you might expect.
The tasks for launching a nuke break down into three main parts: Get the Nuclear Silo Code Fragments, Gain Access to the Silos, and Reach the Control Room.

When i reach the alpha missile silo. I need to activate a hand scanner. Anyone knows how?

Not at the moment, no. Bethesda probably has them disabled them for now so we can’t use nukes just yet. They probably want to save it until later in the game. How I imagine it going to be is that it will spawn a Feral Ghoul Officer and when you kill it, it will drop an Officers hand. It will probably operate the same way as the other codes. This is just what I think will happen, but if anyone knows how to actually do this then I’m interested to know how.
