Dead Space Follow the Security Team
This guide will give you all the information you need! We know that there are people who have a hard time finishing the Dead Space game. If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our Dead Space guide.
Follow Team
Remember that targets can be tracked at any time with the tracking device (R3), checked in the mission menu and targets can be viewed on the map.
At first, you’re stuck in a forced gear, so head to the back of the ship. .Left is a small room where you will find the first text entry, Background Request, on the floor.
These text logs, along with audio logs, provide backstory for in-game events. You can view them at any time in the database menu.
Turn around and walk forward to exit your ship and officially take your first step onto the USG Ishimura. Take a right and follow the security team all the way to the end of the walkway where you will find a door leading to the Security Check-In. Wait for the automated security system to check you in and activate your RIG, then you can go through the door ahead which leads to the Flight Lounge.
You’re stuck in flight space as the scene unfolds around you, so take the time to snag the scattered items. There are some credits in the lockers by the door and a text log, Sponsored Article: The USG Ishimura, on a table on the left side of the room. Finally, the door to the security and traffic officers’ office at the back will be unlocked, allowing you to enter. Go to the back corner of this room and then interact with the blue computer screen to load Damage Report .
This triggers another long scene of you being locked in the security office. Watch events unfold in the flight room as you wait helplessly for the elevator door to open behind you. Once Daniels tells you to “run!” A Necromorph will break into the security office. We can’t defend ourselves right now, so follow Daniels’ instructions and quickly go through the newly opened door.
Even more Necromorphs will spawn as you make your way through this long hall, so keep running and do your best to avoid them. Once you reach the elevator, immediately interact with the panel next to the door to get it moving.
The elevator will let you out in a small lounge, where we will get our first Weapon, the Plasma Cutter, which is sitting on the table in the back left corner. Look for the glowing yellow light, which the game uses to denote Weapon and Weapon Upgrades.
The plasma cutter is your main weapon and without a doubt the best weapon in the game. Fires three projectiles simultaneously in a straight line that can be rotated vertically or horizontally. This weapon depicts one of Dead Space’s weapons. Main combat properties, dismemberment. Almost all enemies have body parts that can be cut off in the right place by shooting. So experiment with shooting enemies in different ways to see what works best.
With the Plasma Cutter in hand, now has access to your melee attacks: R1 to punch, R2 to stomp (good for breaking objects on the ground and stomps on weakened enemies).
Now we need to do a little bit of looting. Dead Space uses Blue Lights to signify lootable items, so look out for any boxes, lockers, or chests that are marked with a blue light. Loot is semi-randomized, so you might find Credits, Ammo, or Med Kits. Start by opening the two floor chests next to the table, then turn around and stomp on the glowing blue Item Box on the floor.
With all the loot in hand, approach the locked door at the back of the room. Melee the glowing circuit to the right of the door to break the lock, allowing you to pass through the door into the Tram Control Room.
Just on the other side of the door is a Necromorph, so prepare for your first real combat encounter. My advice for basic Necromorphs is to always chop off their legs first. Rotate the plasma cutter’s target so it’s horizontal, then shoot the enemy in the thighs. It only takes a few shots to chop off the legs, making them much slower. Once you’re on the ground you can stomp or shoot them, but remember they can still hit you with a ground attack very easily.
When the enemy is dead, always make sure you give them one last kick! This is how you get enemy loot, which can be credits, ammo, or medkits.
Make your way down the hall until you reach the split path. Go forward first, down the slope to the dead end at the bottom where you will find some ammo. Go back up to the split and take the other path which leads into the Tram Control Room.
Immediately on the other side of the door is a security phone with a message waiting. Similar to the Logs from earlier, these phones provide a little extra story for curious players. Interact with the phone to listen in.
From the phone, turn right and down the sloping path. Below you’ll find a small med pack next to a corpse. These are his main healing items, allowing him to regenerate a health segment (displayed via the gauge on the back of Isaac’s suit if you haven’t noticed). You can see your healing items in your inventory or use them automatically with the Circle/B button. Go through the door behind the object to enter the tram control room.
