If you are one of those who find it difficult to finish the game, let’s take you to our DAVE THE DIVER guide.
How to Sell Items
As you delve deeper into the water, gathering various items, the act of selling becomes essential in Dave The Diver. By selling items, you can maintain a tidy inventory while also acquiring funds to upgrade your Harpoon and hire additional staff for the Sushi Bar. Within the game, there are two distinct locations where you can trade unwanted items for money. One spot allows you to sell food ingredients, while the other accepts treasures found on the ocean floor. Here is a guide on how to sell items, ranging from surplus fish to gold bars and pearls, in Dave The Diver.
In Dave The Diver, you have the opportunity to sell both items and ingredients in two different places: The Sushi Bar and Cobra’s Shop. Once you have completed the tutorial for The Sushi Bar, you will gain access to the Ingredients menu while inside Bancho’s Sushi. Within this menu, you can view all the seasonings and fish you have acquired. At the bottom of each item description, you will find a Sell button. Simply press it to sell any items that you deem unnecessary.
However, exercise caution and avoid hasty selling in Dave The Diver. Fish and seasonings never spoil, allowing you to stock up on them indefinitely. With this in mind, the only food items you should consider selling are cooked sushi pieces that no one has purchased. If you possess an abundance of low-end fish, it may be a good idea to discard them for some extra cash as well. Always reserve high-end fish for the more expensive menu options that you can serve in Bancho’s Sushi.
The second location for selling items in Dave The Diver is Cobra’s Shop. This area becomes accessible a bit later in the game, following the completion of the “Where the Current Flows” quest. Once you have finished the quest, wait for an in-game day to pass, and Cobra will open their shop on the boat. Here, you can not only sell items but also purchase materials for upgrading your harpoon, among other non-cooking related goods. Simply switch between the Buy and Sell tabs in the Shop menu to dispose of any unwanted items.
When selling items in Cobra’s Shop, it is advisable to prioritize items such as gold bars and pearls. Additionally, keep in mind that items sold in Cobra’s Shop cannot be repurchased, so exercise caution when engaging in a selling spree.
