Gnarled Cliffs Walkthrough
This portion of the Walkthrough will guide you through upcoming rotating object puzzles that require you to use your Stasis Hollow.
Rotating Beam Puzzle 1
Begin by opening the gate ahead. You can do this by hitting the glowing purple switch with your Force Hollow sledgehammer or by infusing Force Hollow into your Salvation weapon and throwing it.
Once all the enemies are taken care of, travel up the wooden platforms pictured below. Use your Flame Hollow for any extra vertical you need.
When you reach the top you’ll see a silver handle with a purple circle at the center (the same was the switch you just used to get the gate open). Equip your Force Hollow and infuse that power into Salvation. Throw Salvation at it and the entire structure will rotate.
Once it’s done rotating you’ll have a convenient bar right in front of you. Use it to swing to the other side.
Now that you’re on the other side, head through the open doorway up ahead. Take out the enemy waiting for you.
Freeze the Spinning Stone Crusher
Equip your Stasis Hollow and aim for one of the giant, rotating stone crushers to freeze it for a few seconds so you can jump across. Be sure to freeze it when there’s a stone there so you can use that stone to help you get across.
Use your Storm Hollow to glide to the stone and then double jump and glide to the next area. All of this needs to be executed immediately because the stone crushers won’t stay frozen for long.
Defeat the enemy waiting for you and be ready for stronger crabs. These creatures will burrow under the sand for a sneak attack. They are also equipped with armor and can shield themselves from your blows so always look for an opening.
Continue into the next room and it’s more of the same. But after that you’ll enter another arena filled with enemies.
With the enemies defeated head for the water in front of the wooden platforms. Jump to those platforms by using your Flame Jump.
Once at the top swing on the bar across to the other side.
