Unlocking Building Recipes
Initially, players won’t have any building recipes unlocked. To commence base building, complete the tutorial and select your starting biome. Locate the Essence trader in your Abeyance realm and access the Crude Building menu. Spend some Essence Dust to purchase the crude basics recipe, which unlocks the ability to create foundational elements such as doors, frames, windows, walls, and a flat roof.
Setting Up Your Cairn Estate
Upon entering your starting biome, you should receive a quest to build a cairn estate. This item can be found in your base building menu. Planting the cairn establishes a spawn point, serving as the core of your base and enabling it to be accessed as your Respite fast travel point from anywhere in this or other realms. Build around the fast travel point to establish your first base in Nightingale.
When you visit the Abeyance Essence Trader, simply click on the “Buildings: Crude” menu and purchase the basic crude construction recipe, enabling you to craft the basics. Essence Traders are often marked on the map for easy location.
