Where to Find Resources for Harkening Ritual
The Harkening Ritual serves as a method to unveil an Echo, a lingering memory of a ghost’s past, in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. By sketching or etching the Leo Constellation and scattering the appropriate components, Banishers can evoke a glimpse of a past event, enabling them to gather clues or expose hidden truths.
An Echo represents a residual memory imprinted by a ghost prior to its final demise. In the case of Charles, his Echo manifests as the memory of his demise, wherein he confronts a menacing specter before dropping his bible. Through this Echo, Antea embarks on tracing her companion’s footsteps, retrieving the bible to enact another Ritual aimed at either Banishing or Ascending Charles’s spirit.
Pyrite Deposits
Pyrite, a mineral ore, predominantly occurs within the walls of the Dark Woods Region, with each deposit yielding two Pyrites. To acquire this resource in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, follow the guiding light in the Cemetery towards the west, where you’ll encounter a wooden barrier. Once removed, Pyrite becomes visible.
Ascend the slope to collect two Pyrite deposits and continue to the hill’s summit, engaging in a brief skirmish. Fear not, as Antea can dispatch adversaries effortlessly. Acquire three more Pyrite deposits atop the hill before descending to claim an additional one.

Seashore Candles, aptly named for their coastal habitat, thrive near water bodies, notably in The Harrows Region. To procure these plants, head northeast past Charles’s grave, descending a small incline toward the southeast slope, where three Seashore Candle plants await. Beware of adversaries on your return journey.
Subsequently, retrace your steps to the guiding light and initiate the Harkening Ritual, unveiling the harrowing demise of Charles at the hands of a formidable apparition.
