How to Unlock the Sphinx Quest
Of course, after first completing Unified Front, and then A Family’s Legacy, you will be able to start Lore of the Sphinx, the first quest in The Last Riddle quest line. We suggest you be at least level 34 before starting this quest.
1. The first leg of Lore of the Sphinx sends you to the southern coast of Lake Kopais in Boeotia. Talk to Gorgias in front of the Sphinx statue.
2. Find Gorgias’ apprentice, Pibos, about 200m away. You’ll have to fight the the elite lions that killed him nearby.
3. Head back to the Sphinx statue with the second piece of the amulet you just recovered from the lion’s stomach to awaken her. Keep in mind, you must do this at night.
If you can answer my questions wisely, you will have proven yourself worthy.
The Sphinx’s Riddles
Once you collect the amulet and encounter the Sphinx, it will ask you three questions from a pool of several. These questions are randomized and will change should you choose or need to reload your save.
Once you answer the questions, you will be told to find the image of the answer you chose on one of the nearby pillars. Picking an incorrect image and then returning to the Sphinx will result in an instant death. The answer to The Sphinx’s riddles are as follows:
