Assassins Creed Odyssey A God Among Men Quest Walkthrough

Head to the island of Kythera and into the city where Murex Fort is located. Head up the hill nearby and speak to the man fighting with the priestesses.
The man will beg for his “god” Empedokles to be freed from his imprisonment in the fort below. Tell him you’ll help, gather some more information, and run down the hill to the fort.
Once at the fort, call Ikaros to set the target. To do this mission stealthily, make sure to meditate until night time and head to the northwestern side of the fort for a small opening in the barrier.
Sneak through the fort to get to the cages in the middle and free Empedokles. Once he is free, escape the fort. Kill those who get in the way, but for the most part, this is a dip in and dip out quest.
Follow Empedokles back up the hill where the quest giver was. A cutscene will play between Empedokles and the priestess. Eventually, Empedokles will speak with the player. It doesn’t matter what is said here. He will tell the player about a robe with a key that needs fetching and some more about his “brothers and sisters.” After this conversation, the quest will end.
