Meaning of Tier List Ranks
The descriptions for the tiers used in this list are as follows:
- S+ Tier: Broken units!
- S Tier: These are the best characters currently available in the game. They should be your top priority to add to your party, and you should level them up and equip them first.
- A Tier: These characters are great for filling gaps in your party when you don’t have enough S Tier characters. Look for ones that can counter your party’s weaknesses.
- B Tier: These characters are helpful during the early stages of the game, but become less useful as you progress. Use them when you don’t have enough S or A Tier characters, but try to swap them out later on.
- C Tier: These characters can have niche uses in certain game modes or be strong early on, but they’re not recommended for late-game parties.
Best Mythics in Anime Adventures
Griffin (Darkness)
Griffin (Darkness) is a Mythical unit based on Griffith (This form is known as “Femto” however.) From the manga Berserk. This unit is a part of Griffin (Ascension), and it is activated by sacrificing non-buff units.
Sacrifice Condition
Griffin (Darkness) awakens from Griffin (Ascension) by using non-buffing units through his ability. This ability eliminates all units within his range, and the percentage he gains depends on the value of the units sacrificed. You gain 1% for every 1000¥ spent on sacrificed units.
The exact damage increase per 1% additional sacrifice remains unknown because the equation for this calculation is nonlinear and requires the determination of zeros/vertex to decipher. The highest possible percentage you can achieve is 2551%. This can be accomplished by deploying Guts (Berserk), Aizo (Final), Flamingo (Awakened), Golden Freezo (Emperor), and Erein (Founder). With a 2551% increase, your Griffin (Darkness) can achieve a DPS of 302,110 (which varies based on stats and potential). With 2551%, Wenda, Griffin Reincarnation, and Pucci Heaven, your Griffin Darkness can reach a DPS of 1,510,550. However, this isn’t his maximum potential because Gojo (Six Eyes) can receive an infinite number of upgrades due to his limitless ability. Just taking him to Limitless 10 will cost a total of 900k.
How to Maximize Griffin (Darkness)’s Damage?
- Increase Griffin (Ascension)’s sacrifice meter to 95% or higher; you can push it to 99% or even 100% (rounding off at 99.5%-99.9%). Be cautious with this as the unit will transform once it hits 100%, and you’ll lose the opportunity to further boost Griffin’s damage. (Note: 1k¥ spent on unit(s) equals 1% sacrifice meter.)
- Position and fully upgrade all of your primary damage-dealing units within Griffin (Ascension)’s range.
- Activate the Sacrifice ability.
If you’ve introduced Oshy (Idol) into the game and still aim to maximize Griffin (Darkness)’s damage, you can follow the steps outlined above. However, instead of placing Oshy (Idol) at the start of the game, consider introducing her after you’ve completed all your sacrificing. By doing so, you not only achieve the maximum damage potential (without the 20% money discount) but also benefit from the 15% damage bonus provided by Oshy (Idol)’s passive ability!
Guts (Berserk)
Guts (Berserk) is a Mythical unit based on Guts from the manga Berserk. He is only obtainable by evolving Guts.
Guts inflicts bleeding damage equal to 25% of his total damage output. With all upgrades at their maximum base level, the total combined damage per second (DPS) when factoring in his bleed effect is 21,440.77 (Please note that these values may vary depending on the specific stats).
Guts’ “Dragonslayer Assault” attack stands out as having the third-highest multi-hit count in the entire game, surpassed only by Ipo and Yuto (Cursed Child) with a remarkable 7 hits. In the case of Guts’ “Beast of Darkness” attack, the bleed effect is applied on the second hit rather than the initial hit.
Anz (Overlord)
Anz (Overlord) is a Secret unit based on Ainz Ooal Gown from the anime Overlord. He can only be obtained by evolving Anz.
- Passive Ability: Dark Young Upon defeating 50 enemies, Anz (Overlord) can summon a solitary Dark Young. This summoned Dark Young boasts 5 times the displayed damage of Anz.
- Active Ability: The Goal Of All Life Is Death When activated, a 12-second countdown timer appears above Anz (Overlord). Once the timer reaches zero, any enemy within Anz’s range will suffer damage equal to 5 times his own damage. Additionally, affected enemies will be enveloped in a distinctive yellow aura.
