Crop Soil Guide
Understanding Crop Rotation and Farming
In Paleo Pines, all crops have a desired and depletion soil type.
- Desired Soil is the soil that a crop grows best in, planting a crop in the correct soil type and using fertilizer of this type will improve the quality of the end crop.
- Depletion Soil is the soil that a crop leaves behind after the final harvest.
This means that if we take a carrot, for example, it will give better quality crops when planted in Sticky Soil and when using Sticky fertilizer. Additionally, when harvested, it will leave behind soft soil!
If you combine the correct soil, fertilizer, and season you will have a chance for a Bumper Crop! These provide additional yield and potentially seeds of the given crop type!
Now keep in mind, you do not have to do any of the above to make money farming in Paleo Pines! This is just a way to increase the quality of your crops ^-^
