Welcome to our Savant Ascent Remix Tips and Achievements Guide. This guide will explain all 17 achievements and how to obtain them.
Tips & Tricks
New Abilities:
- + Double Jump: You are allowed to double jump 3 times once you’re in the air. Not only is this great for avoiding enemies, but each time you perform an aerial move, you gain some energy to your Power Meter. With each consecutive jump, this bonus will increase, so keep that air-time going for a massive bonus to your power!
- + Backflip: Heading into a cluster of enemies after jumping? Press in the opposite direction of where you’re going, and you’ll do a backflip! It’ll cost you a double jump, but most likely put you out of harms way. OH, and backflips also reward a bonus to your Power Meter just like the double jump. Parkour your way up that tower!
- + Powershots: Like in the original, you can perform massive powershots! They are your garden-variety magic missile shotgun blast! With each charge of your bar (max is 3) the bolts split into two more missles, for a max of 5. When you want to take out a bunch of enemies at once, save up and go for the kill!
- + Air-Shots: You can now perform Powershots while airborne. Use this to gain some additional air-time, or aim for difficult-to-reach enemies.
- + Hit Combo: As you defeat your enemies you rack up HITS. Keep your combo going by hitting enemies, and increase your HITS by downing them. You combo will evaporate after a a few seconds, but only when you are landed on the ground. As long as you keep in the air, you can keep on going! Refresh your combo by taking down a bunch of enemies in the air with a well-placed Air-Shot!

Sayonara⠀ Fight the Samurai.(Stage 9) There is 3 phase for this boss, the first phase require you to dodge him (this will be useful to learn for the second phase), the second phase consists of the same pattern, with homing bombs added. On his first move, you’ll be required to jump, so focus first on the bombs on the top. On his second move focus on the bombs on the side he start his bouncing attack. Then for the last move, focus first on the bomb closer to you and then on his flying top-part. For the last phase, he will start by speed cutting you, just dodge and focus and staying out of the white lines. After a while he will start to be damagable more easily. The second/last part of the phase will add homing bombs, just try not to get overwhelmed. Congrats, you have beat the game ! |
Mecanic
These 2 achievements require to use new mecanic but are really easy to get
Fill The Air⠀ Perform 10 Air-Shots!⠀ To perform air-shots simply jump (W) and use the special attack (Space or Right Click) while in the air | |
NOPE⠀ Perform 10 Backflips!⠀ To perform a backflip simply jump (W) and use left (A) or Right (D) while in the air |
Vario
This achievement require you to kill Vario faster than (probably) your first try
Vario 64⠀ Beat Vario in less than 64 seconds.⠀ To beat him really fast just use your special attack whenever you can and focus on him instead of his projectile |
Combos
There is 5 achievements related to combo, two of them provide a challenge
HIT Combo 100⠀ Reach a Hit Combo of 100⠀ Almost unmissable, see Combo 500 for detail | |
HIT Combo 200⠀ Reach a Hit Combo of 200⠀ Almost unmissable, see Combo 500 for detail | |
HIT Combo 300⠀ Reach a Hit Combo of 300⠀ You can get it in your first playthrough, see Combo 500 for detail | |

HIT Combo 500⠀ Reach a Hit Combo of 500⠀ Hardest achievement of the game but doable (I guess) You need to kill ennemies without interruption, the Ascension Stage is the best one (Or Survival mode). A tips I found on the Steam Discussions that helped me get the 400 one : + Hit Combo: As you defeat your enemies you rack up HITS.
