If you want to experience everything the game’s story has to offer, you’ll need to use a variety of items in different orders and locations to clear a path forward.
One such item is the Cassette, which can be found in the Midtown hub world. You will need it to successfully steal the clothing store worker’s vest, which in turn will allow Clementine’s contact to guide you to NECO’s work area.
Tape Location
As in all games, as you complete achievements, discover new areas, you will advance in the game so you will unlock all the possibilities that Stray has, such as:
- New locations
- Some NPCs
- New items
- Missions
- Outfits
- & much more
An item that you will have to have in order to complete the game is a cassette and the player to play that cassette, this item is completely necessary to be able to move forward.
To get and be able to obtain that cassette from the fellow residents, you will be tasked with completing a mission in which you will have to destroy 3 security cameras, here is an explanatory video on how to do it:
When you have got the cassette, the question will be, what can I do with the cassette and how does it work?
In order to make the cassette work you must find the necessary producer (when you do this process once) the other times will be completely intuitive, Neco Factory Cassette Player and Work Jacket Location:
- At the clothing store in midtown
- In the store: you must go to the back room
- In the corner of the room
- Interact with the player by approaching it, to insert the cassette tape
- It will sound at full volume
- The owner walks over to the player to turn it off
- Take advantage of that moment to be able to take the Neco Factory work jacket that is on the mannequin
- (Jacket: it is important for the story, you must give it to Blazer).

As we advance in the game we can discover new areas and locations. The idea of the game is that we enter a world that has never been explored.
The Stray game has open world elements with an emphasis on atmosphere, exploration and art.
We put ourselves in the shoes of a stray cat who finds himself in a world populated by robots and dares to return to his family.
Being the curious cat that we are going to be in the game, we must progress, discovering and guessing different puzzles to advance in the Stray game.
