Stray Inside the Wall Walkthrough
At the beginning of the story, you take control of a wild cat, part of a family of four. Say hello to your feline companions by approaching them and pressing Triangle to play with them. The triangle will be one of your main interaction buttons and it can be used to perform a few different tasks. Once you’ve interacted with all three cats, they’ll move into the makeshift cardboard bed and you can join them to weather out the storm as there’s nowhere else to go yet.
Stray Explore The Wall
When you awaken, the other cats will begin to journey outside your home, making use of the large rusting pipes that criss-cross the imposing concrete wall.
When you regain control, feel free to explore the large open area and get a feel for traversing. When you approach ledges or platforms in range, you’ll see a small X showing you where you can jump to by pressing the indicated button.
You can also press O to call out with a meow – useful for seeing if anyone else nearby is around to answer your call.
Once you climb up the steps, you can also spy a small tree one of the cats will start scratching at. Press Triangle and alternate L2 and R2 to give it a good scratch.
Keep moving forward with your pack until you reach a guard rail, and look to the right for a raised walkway to keep moving up, and take a drink from some puddles if you feel so inclined. Drop down to the lower pipe and jump across to keep moving forward until you pass some barrels to find a large divide with large platforms on either side.
Start by hopping down to the left and keep following your family – where you can either stay on the left platform or jump down to the pipes to cross to the right platform. Either way works, so just enjoy the journey. When you reach a set of smaller pipes, you can hold X to keep jumping across them smoothly.
When you reach the end of the divide, follow the water trail through a small narrow passageway you can squeeze through.
Another large divide is ahead, and you can hold R2 to get a good zoomed view. Look for the hanging rebars to jump between to reach the lower platform left, and approach the broken pipe.
Unfortunately, destiny has other plans for our feline, and you’ll be separated from your pack, as the cat falls deep under the wall to parts unknown.
