Head west to Blackwing Library. Along the way you’ll encounter Nenio. After you deal with the cultists, she’ll ask you a concern, the right answer to which is red and white.
Continue on until you come across the demon Babau (near the Hanged Cultist encounter). He ‘d produce a hard opponent if you couldn’t pull the Slumber + Coup de Grace combination (ideally with Cold Iron weapons).
Upon coming to Blackwing Library, buff your celebration, then speak to Chaleb, who appears to be in the middle of a slaughter. Pass the Perception check for 11XP and to discover he’s lying; pass the Religion check for 11XP and to observe his armour doesn’t match up with his captaincy claim. Fail the Athletics check (a Lawful action) and the true crusaders will die; prosper the Athletics check to make 24XP and to get rid of the flask from the alchemist, therefore conserving the true crusaders. Either way, you need to combat now. Sleep + Coup de Grace will again be useful here.
After combat, speak with Storyteller and Klaem (if they endured). Inquire about Miammir to get My Company of Worn-Out Words – Songs of a Crusader, a book that will include a hint as to her whereabouts.
In the rear right corner, a Perception 20 check will reveal a secret door. Inside, take Magic Essence and Quarterstaff of Coercion.
Go back to Defenders’ Heart and talk to Storyteller (near your space) to receive 368XP and Storyteller’s Ring, and to trigger Notes for the Storyteller.
