Tiptoe Tips and Tricks
Seesaw is actually one of my favorite rounds next to most of the obstacle courses (dizzy heights+ gate crash+ slime climb are among my favorites too). But I hate Tiptoe. I hate it. So, what do we do? You can actually just listen to that.
So, here is tiptoe from that same timestamp (same-ish) :
We all know what happens in this game, don’t we? People try to finish but keep dying and respawning, pointlessly discovering tile by tile because they should, but whoever falls at the last 4 rows of tiles near the finish line won’t qualify due to the respawn point distance. Well, that sucks. This is just some RNG b*llshit. Even if you didn’t say that, I literally said that when I play this. Of course there is the common wisdom of “don’t be too far in front”. But when everyone realizes this, people start pushing whoever is in front of them to discover tiles, which is a d*ck move. I included this tip because this might help people be slightlynicer knowing that they don’t need to be a d*ck to win.
So look at that picture again, now very obviously highlighted. You definitely noticed this too in your playthrough.
That one tile. It has a gap to the left, but none to the right. With the camera angle, it’s obvious that it’s slightly nudged up. You may have noticed, but in this game. Tiles Wiggle occassionally, and in that picture, the highlighted tile was wiggling. I thought it was just a fun little thing to make the world feel more alive and playful. Oh boy, was I wrong.
Fall Guys #3 = Tiles that Wiggle aren’t real.
In my 2 days of playing this constantly and winning 5 matches, I have never known this or realized this. If Wander didn’t upload the video, if his friend didn’t notice or if I didn’t watch it, I wouldn’t know. I must share this to people. So if you’re patient enough, just keep a lookout on tiles that never wiggle. You will be able to take paths. If your tile is overcrowding and you can go in 3 directions, you will atleast know where to go if 2 of those directions have wiggling tiles at that second. If you’ve only seen one tile wiggle, you have reduced the chance of picking the wrong thing from 66% (1/3) to 50% (1/2). Of course, people will still overcrowd or maybe jerks will push you off, but now it’s for a different purpose. You’re not just pushing people off and trying to see tiles. You can make a much more educated guess and discover tiles yourself. If you’re confident it’s been a long time and that tile isn’t wiggling, go get that path and secure your victory!
If everyone knows about this, the need for pushing other people lessens. This reduces uncertainty and increases the rate of “i’ll discover it myself” instead of “i push you to check”. share this one with everyone you know who plays fall guys.
This is not yet fully tested and I haven’t played since writing this. If you don’t want to risk losing your fall guys round, PLEASE watch video gameplays/streams from fall guys instead to check, and keep a lookout on their Tiptoe rounds. If this ever gets disproven, link the video to me with the time and I’ll check.
